Beautifully remodeled town home just one block from the beach - this spacious two bedroom, two and half bathroom home sleeps eight people comfortably. The master bedroom has a king bed and private bathroom and the large guest bedroom has two queen beds and a private bathroom as well.   My family and I really loved this place. Loved the decor throughout the house as it kept the theme of the beach. The property was spotless and very well maintained. One block from the beach was not bad at all. I would definitely recommend staying here. Two minor things: the couch is not really a pull out couch and I wish there were TV's in both rooms upstairs with cable. Not complaining but just a comment and suggestion. I loved that I was able to grill out back. It was very convenient to get around to attractions and stores. Overall, it was a wonderful experience staying here.

  Waves of Freedom was wonderful, and provided my family of 7 a comfortable stay. The house was clean, a little Sandy around the edges, but I think we added more; that is what beaches do. The water was a short 2 block walk and the sights like the lighthouse and aquarium were just a few minutes drive. Our 15 passenger van just fit in the driveway, so anything smaller would be no problem. This home was worth the price. We went with paying the damage deposit and it took 5 days less than a month to get it back; Anchor Realty assured me that was not the norm and they were super nice the couple times I called, and it did arrive. If I stay in Virginia Beach again I will definitely look up Waves of Freedom under Anchor Realty through Home Away.

  The rental place was spacious, clean and had pretty decor. They supplied linens and toiletries which was unexpected and a thoughtful touch! The kitchen has all the supplies you need to make any meal during your stay. We had a great time!

  We stayed here for a long weekend for a high school graduation. The place was clean and well situated. A minor problem was addressed right away by maintenance. Cute town house – the only challenge we had was parking. I own a large SUV I was not comfortable with the tight spot. The SUV fit OK, but I would not have been able to get it into the garage. This particular unit was located in an alley, which would be my only negative thing to say. It was within walking distance to the beach in restaurants so a great spot.

  We live in Hampton Roads area, but our son was getting married in Virginia Beach. We did not want to deal w/tunnel traffic especially during holiday week-end. Anchor realy worked w/us for our stay (not a whole week) Family would stop by the condo and handy to have a kitchen. Nice updated accommodations.Short walk to beach and other hotels that family were staying at.

  My family stayed at Waves of Freedom in August. The layout and furnishings were perfect for our family to enjoy meals together, play board games, and have movie night. The condo is a short walk to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. We walked to everything for the week. The property management company was excellent. We would definitely consider staying in this property again.

  The rental property was a short walk to the beach which was nice. The unit itself was very clean and spacious. Everyone had enough room and wasn't crowded. Towels and sheets were provided even though I had brought my own. The garage was large and our truck fit well. There was room in the driveway for my daughter's car but would have been inconvenient to move every time we went somewhere so she parked along the side street. Well she ended up getting a ticket! So definitely park in the driveway. Overall we would go back and stay again.

  This rental property is located 1-2 blocks from the beach, which was super convenient. The home is very spacious and was clean upon arrival. We were able to fit 2 cars at the property: 1 in the garage and driveway. While the garage is quite long, it is not long enough for 2 regular sized cars to fit in. Bath towels and cleaning supplies were provided. The only 2 things we did not like about the home were the bedding and lack of adequate lighting in the second bedroom and hallway. The sheets were very scratchy and hard. There were no comforters for the beds as shown in the images; they were paper thin "quilts" that were also very uncomfortable. The lights didn't work in the hallway and they were very dim in the second room. We could have called maintenance, but it was manageable. Otherwise, the property was great! We would definitely stay again.
