  House was a great size for our family. Easy walk to the beach. Could use a solid cleaning and some updates, but it was comfortable and fair for what we paid. Anchor Realty was very great to work with. Very polite and professional.

  The location of this property is great! Literally right in the middle of everything! The walk is easy to the boardwalk/beach - only 1 1/2 blocks. We walked everywhere we wanted to go and only took the trolley one night to get to know the entire area. Dolphin Cove was clean, cozy and quiet. The pictures on the site do need to be updated. There was a large leather comfy sofa in the living room and the master room has a different (bigger) bed as well. It's not an overly fancy or modern place, but it was clean, nice and worked well for us. The upstairs bathroom floor probably needs a repair, but it's nothing too bad. We had a plumbing issue and Anchor sent someone out as quickly as possible in order to not disrupt our vacation time too much. Anchor has super friendly and helpful employees as well. The only real complaint I would have is the parking situation. There is only one spot and it's tight back in that area. The local residents were nice as well. I'd recommend if you're looking for a clean, close place to the beach but not if you need/want a full modern rental. We did have wi-fi which was nice as well. Oh, and the siding could have used a power wash for the season, but that didn't affect our stay one bit.

  I loved the location very easy to get to everything. It was very small, best for 2 people, does have beds for more. It is very nice that you can have dogs. The house does need to be updated. The upstairs bathroom needs a new floor in a bad way. Outside of the bathroom floor it is what it says it is, they do not oversell it. Don't love the parking but does have off street parking. WAS A SAFE PLACE, IN A GOOD LOCATION.

  This was a cosy home away from home very close to the action but very quiet. Other than the abundance of sand on the second floor and the dirty coffee maker, we really enjoyed our stay.

  We were very excited to start our week long vacation in Virginia Beach as we have never been there before. First, the property was not properly cleaned when we arrived. There was debris on the tile in the living room, the area rug in the living room had stains on it, the trash can lid was broken off and the foot pedal for the trash can was broken as well, the upstairs smelled of like musty mildew or something, and it was so hot upstairs that we slept downstairs on the couch, and the dining room table looked beat up. Simple upgrades are definitely needed. The staff was nice and did allow us to check in early. The location was great. I would use the realty company again but would not stay in this property again.

  EASY ACCESS TO THE BEACH. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT THE YARD WAS A MESS AN OLD WOODEN FENCE LAYING IN THE YARD. PATIO FURNITURE OLD AND ONLY HAD 2 CHAIRS TO SIT AT THE TABLE. BROKEN AND OLD PICNIC TABLE IN YARD AND ANOTHER BROKEN DOWN WOOD SOMETHING IN YARD ALSO. WEEDS OVERGROWN ON SIDE OF HOUSE AND WEEDS HANGING FROM SECOND STORY OF HOUSE. THE MANAGEMENT DID RESPOND QUICKLY TO ANY CONCERN.

  My fiancé and are two friends stayed here for a three night min-vacay and had a wonderful time. Its very close to the beach and very close to the main strip in Virginia beach with restaurants and shops. I loved that I didn't have to get in the car the whole time during my visit. Any random thing we forgot we could pick up at the 7-eleven around the corner. The little yard out back was also nice for relaxing and playing cards. I should also note that the staff at Anchor Realty were incredibly nice and helpful!

  We enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin Cove. The location was perfect, two blocks from the beach and the grocery store very nearby. We had evrything we needed for a nice stay. Although I would suggest a new bed for the master bedroom as my back started to feel bad after a week on a curvy and skeeky bed. A one service with the people at Anchor Realty as they were nice and maintained the property very clean cut. It was charming to share the outdooring with 3 other guests families and have some conversations with them. Like in a little community.

  My husband and I came to visit my brother with our 3 kids and loved the location! Close to the beach, but still away from the resort crowd. Comfortable place to stay and it was CLEAN. Great beach cottage feel! Would definitely stay here again!

  again as with crab bungalow-not clear enough in description to know ahead of time this was a duplex.. Parking a problem when we first arrived on weekend at both rentals. couch needs to be replaced.

  We felt very comfortable w/ our 4 person family it had just enough space for our needs. We had a problem with our faucet and right away Anchor Realty came and replaced it. There was construction being done and only down fall was we had to park on the street but with our parking permit provided it wasn't hard to find a spot. We loved that it's only a walking distance to the beach. We were pleased with our stay over all.

  This was our first family vacation to VA Beach and I have to say that it exceded our expectations. The location of this rental was ideal for our family...only a block from the beach and shopping (which is perfect when you have kids in tow!). But, it wasn't in the think of the boardwalk to where we couldn't sleep. The street was quiet and safe. The rental itself has been "lived in" and could use some updating but it was more than enough space for our family and dog. The amenities were more than sufficient. The only downside was the bed in our room that was propped up on wood kept falling in if you didn't balance it just right. I recommend the owners invest in a bed that is not such a headache. Otherwise, this rental was perfect for us and I would recommend it! In addition, the Anchor Realty Staff was professional, helpful and forthcoming when an unexpected repair needed to be made next door. They gave us plenty of notice of our rental needing to be accessed for the repair and were helpful in any transfer of information. I would rent through them again as well!

  This property is conveniently located a block or so from the boardwalk in a nice residential area. While the house isn't fancy, it's clean and simple. We had a slight problem with the plumbing but it was taken care of very quickly- Anna is very customer service oriented and extremely kind and helpful. Our only problem was finding the office to pick up our keys- our GPS couldn't locate the exact building! And we didn't have an address for the property itself. Overall, our family had a wonderful week and would definitely go back! Thanks!
